Important notice to mariners...marine forecasts are issued atleast four times a day. Boaters on extended trips shouldroutinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates forthe latest marine weather information.

The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which isthe average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highestwaves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The windsand seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast.

SYNOPSIS

The easterly flow is beginning to weaken, allowing a decrease inseas across coastal waters as isolated to scattered storms remainpossible each day into the weekend. However, conditions willstill remain hazardous to small craft through the day and intothis evening. The best chance for storms will be lateafternoon/evening as showers and thunderstorms drift offshore.Coverage is expected to increase some this weekend (during asimilar time-frame), but by early next week, scattered to numerousshowers and storms could be possible at nearly any time as awest-southwest flow takes control.
