So what's people's fav mons from this gen. For me it's annihilape, Tatsugirii, Chien-Pao,Great Tusk, roaring moon and Ogerpon.

If you forced me to take legendaries and Paradox off the table... then replace the last three with Annihilape, Pamot, and Ceruledge (even though I don't have one, it just looks really f*cking cool)

I don’t think there’s even a Gen 9 Pokémon I straight-up dislike, tbh, but my personal top five in no particular order probably are:

1. Skeledirge
2. Clodsire
3. Ogerpon
4. Baxcalibur
5. Quaquaval

If I don’t include Ogerpon (because Legendary), Meowscarada takes the #5 spot. IMO all of the starters’ respective third stages are just S-Tier designs.

Honorable mentions include but are not limited to Palafin (they finally added a dolphin Pokémon in the best way possible), Cetoddle/Cetitan, Dudunsparce, Scovillian, Espathra, Tinkaton, and Bramblin/Brambleghast (I never knew I needed a tumbleweed Pokémon until I actually saw them for the first time in-game 😅).

My favorites are Meowscarada, Skeledirge, Quaquaval, Annihilape, Ceruledge, Clodsire, Tinkaton, Palafin, Revavroom, Glimmora, Houndstone, Cetitan, Kingambit, Baxcalibur, Gholdengo, Sinistcha, Hydrapple and Archaludon. I never really was that much into Paradox Pokemon, to be honest.

I like the Prehistoric Paradox Pokemon designs, both in appearance and in gameplay. Especially when they're contrasted with their "modern" counterparts.

The one thing I don't like about the Paradox Pokemon is that barring the Raidons they all share the same Ability, and most of them don't have unique Signature Moves (again, barring the Raidons and the ones based on the Legendary Trios).

Top 10 Violet mons for me are Kingambit, Miraidon, Iron Valiant, Ceruledge, Iron Jugulis, Pecharunt, Ogerpon, Chien-Pao, Munkidori, and Tinkaton.

Lots of banger designs this gen. And great lore as well.

The Paradox Pokemon definitely made it a bit difficult for me to choose a version since I really liked all of their designs. But ultimately, I liked Miraidon a bit more than Koraidon, which is why I ended up going with Violet.

I do really like both Raidons though. It's just that Miraidon looks a bit more like an Eastern Dragon, and I tend to like those types of dragons more than western dragons.

See, I'm a Western Dragon fan, so Koraidon was the one for me. It's also got feathers, so that's another plus for me.

I personally prefer Miradon because of the electrical and cyborg dragon theme.

Pretty badass. Plus it makes a cool motorcycle.

so wound up with a gouging fire that I traded for a shiny Kyogre over the GTS for my shiny weather trio collection.

That news aside. I went with Violet because its my favorite color and because I like the futuristic aspect of the paradox mons (even though it is admittedly samey from an aesthetic standpoint).

With that said i have to wonder is there any reason why they made one third of the Paradox Beasts/Swords tantamount to mythicals?
